Train with Koach

My  name is Keith Klebacha and I am a foot soldier of fitness. My mission is to inspire individuals to move and be active.

With a lifetime commitment to being active including certifications in the fitness field, I am confident in my approach to help motivate people on all levels of the Mind, Body, and Spirit.

As each day passes, I find happiness in knowing that I can make a difference in someone's life by helping them achieve their fitness goals. All that I ask in return is that they take that chance and believe in themselves as well as me.

Coach K embodies everything an athlete needs in a coach:

  1. Experience
  2. Dedication
  3. Humor
  4. Commitment
  5. Counsel
  6. and Humor

But he also has the Zen-factor that many coaches lack. He is more than a coach and more like a counselor coaxing out of you the best athlete you can be. Take it from me a non-athlete who had been doing triathlon for 10 years but it wasn't until I was coached by Coach K for six months that I learned I had what it takes to become an Ironman. With Coach K's guidance and trust I went from a 2:43/100 swim, 12 mph bike and 16-min/mile run to a 15:25 Ironman Finish, 1:37/100 swim, 18 mph bike and 11 min/mile. Coach is the bizness and whatever you're goal he'll get you there.

"In the Shape of My Life by Race Day..."

"I first came to Keith when I had just been released from physical therapy for a fractured ankle. The surgeon did not know if there would be remaining issues if I subjected the ankle (and under-developed leg) to endurance exercise. I had signed up for a half-Ironman earlier in 2013, so I simply asked Keith for his advice about training up for the race in 3 months. He took it from there and had me in the shape of my life by race day, with careful consideration of the ankle for a successful start.

In 2014, I asked Keith for another stint to train up for Steelhead. Only this time, I came to him completely healthy and ready to push. And am I ever glad I did! His approach was fresh, slightly more adventurous than my training off the injury last year, and invigorating every day (even rest days). My run test (as much ground as you can cover in 20 minutes) went from a 7:15 to a 6:44 mile in under 12 weeks. And his swim coaching is unbelievable. I did not swim beyond 25 meters prior to 2013, but I completed two half-Ironman races, and a 1 mile swim race (placing 3rd in my age group!). One session, he gave me a few pointers in the endless pool and upped my pace from a 1:36/100 yds to 1:28. And I was more comfortable with my form at the quicker speed. I finished Steelhead well under my goal time and had a blast doing it...and lost 20 pounds in 12 weeks.

Keith is a gifted mentor and a pleasure to work with. Planning the race and racing the plan sounds straight-forward, but his guidance and motivation to that end are invaluable.

On to the next thing!" ---- Dolan McMillan

"He gets the best out of me..."

"I met coach Keith Klebacha in February of 2011 when I signed up for group training for ironman wisconsin. I was new to the sport and it's always intimidating when you walk into an environment with some of the city's most finely tuned athletes. Right off the bat though I knew I was in good hands with Keith. He introduced himself and immediately made me feel comfortable about the sport, the race and my overall athletic abilities. Thanks to keith I exceeded my expectations and have been working with him ever since. He's gotten me across the finish line in 3 ironmans and helped me achieve times I didn't think were possible. I also qualified for my first boston marathon which I'll be running this April thanks to Keith's guidance.

> It's one thing to have a coach that just writes stuff down on paper and expects you to do it. Keith is much more than that. He will put together the right program for you but also encourage you throughout, pick you up when you're down and make sure you keep fighting to achieve your fitness goals. Whether it's weight loss, a better physique or an ironman medal you're looking for, Keith will coach you, encourage you and push you to get the most out of yourself. I plan on working with Keith for years to come not just because he gets me across the finish line, but because he gets the best out of me."
